WANTED! Horticultural Technician

 

We are always "growing". Do you have 2 days a week to work 3-4 hours each day? Has the potential to grow into more hours should you want over time. 

  • Do you like caring for indoor plants? Candidates must have past experience with indoor plants.
  • Do you enjoy working independently? Do you have a smartphone?
  • Can you lift plants and watering cans filled with water that may weigh up to 15lbs? Do you like cleaning plants and potting them up?
  • Do you have a reliable vehicle that can take you to your scheduled route to take care of plants in Commercial buildings and to drop off and pick up plants?

Looking for someone who just wants part-time, physically sound, might have janitorial, greenhouse, or farming background.

Must provide Criminal Record Check (reimbursed after one year of employment).

Flexible hours AND flexible days during work week. Tues-Fri 9-5 Mileage and travel time is paid.

Lesley has the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association certification of Interior Horticultural Technician (CHT), a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Marketing from Dalhousie University (B.Comm) and was involved in the Human Resource industry for over 10 years before starting Pro Plant Care.
